According to the SABC, the show simply reached the end of the season, but will returning with a new time-slot on Wednesday evenings as of 8 November 2017.

Presenter and co-executive producer of the SABC 1 show, Zaziwa, Pearl Modiaide, says she was in the dark about her show being put on hold.

But when asked for comment by TshisaLive, Pearl was allegedly taken aback by news of the time-slot change.

“As producers of the show, we have been contracted to create the content and provide it to the SABC. We do our part to make a quality production but it is up to the SABC to decide on the time and day that is best to air it,” she said.

Pearl also told the publication that although she is aware of the show’s drop in viewership, she is not in the least bit worried.

“I am aware but we are not concerned. The SABC is doing what it can with the show and we trust that they know what they are doing with the show,” she said.
