EFF Leader Julius Malema has visited former ANCYL leader Sindio Magaqa’s family in Umzimkhulu, Kwazulu Natal to pay his respects on Friday.
The family showed him the car in which Sindiso was shot.
Magaqa was part of the ANCYL top six in 2011 with then president Julius Malema.
He died at the Albert Luthuli Hospital in Durban on Monday from gunshot wounds he sustained in a suspected ambush in July.
The province is plagued by political violence and five councillors having been killed this year alone.
