April sees the start of e.tv’s new series, Broken Vows. The show, which delves into the lives of a family-run wedding planning company, stars local actors Thapelo Mokoena, Enhle Mbali, and Sello Sobatsane.

Enhle gave us a little insight into her character, Azania.

“Azania is the head wedding planner at Yours Truly, her mother owns the company and it’s left to her and her adopted sister to run. She is strong, driven and knows what she wants. She is going through life changes and is learning to deal with her emotions through this journey. Her husband, who was a great soccer player, now sports anchor, is a part of her life’s miseries,” she explains.

The actress says having to build her character from scratch has been one of the best parts of this project. “I get to create a character for a whole year, I have so much time to play and create a full character. So much fun.”

So what should fans expect from Azania? According to Enhle you can look forward to seeing her fun side. “A fun side of me, I bring that to Azania, and I really hope people enjoy it.”

Broken Vows starts Monday 10 April at 20:00 on e.tv (DSTV channel 194), and eHD (DSTV channel 104).
