Thandiwe Gatyane from Makhetheng, Sterkspruit said she got a call from the boyfriend of her friend Bulelwa Gxabuza at 10.35am.

IT’S Women’s Month in Mzansi, but the murders of women by men close to them continues.

A chilling telephone conversation on Wednesday allegedly tipped residents off to a murder.

He allegedly told her he had killed Bulelwa (41) and dumped her body in a toilet.

“I couldn’t believe my ears when I got the call.

“Residents went to her house and found her body in the pit toilet in her yard,” said Thandiwe.

Bulelwa’s boyfriend allegedly told Thandiwe he was on his way to Cape Town.He allegedly also called a friend and told him he was making for Queenstown.

Some residents called taxis travelling to Cape Town in an attempt to find the alleged killer, but their efforts proved fruitless.

Family spokeswoman Nonceba Gxabuza said: “Our child was brutally killed by this evil man.“We are really sad and hope cops will do everything in their power to catch the killer.”

Police spokesman Captain Victor Bojabotseha confirmed that cops were investigating a case of murder but said no arrests had been made yet.
